• Prof. Chan Ka-leung Francis, Dean of Medicine, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Hospital Authority for one year from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Ho Puay-peng, director and professor in the School of Architecutre, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as chairman of the Council of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust for two years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Ho Pui-yin, professor in the Department of History, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Council of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust for two years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Lam Kin-che, professor in the Department of Geography and Resource Management, has been appointed by the Chief Secretary for Administration as a member of the Appeal Board Panel established under the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (Chapter 499) for three years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Ng Mee-kam, professor in the Department of Geography and Resource Management, has been re-appointed by the Chief Secretary for Administration as a member of the Appeal Board Panel established under the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (Chapter 499) for three years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Lam Chiu-wa Linda, chairman and professor in the Department of Psychiatry, has been appointed by the Food and Health Bureau as a member of the Review Committee on Mental Health for one year from 6 May 2013.
• Prof. Chan Kay-sheung Paul, chairman and professor in the Department of Microbiology, has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene for two years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Chan Yan-keung Thomas, professor in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene for two years from 1 April 2013.
• Prof. Wong Kin-hong, associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been registered by the Education Bureau as a manager of the Cognitio College (Kowloon) from 1 November 2012 to 31 August 2014.
• Prof. Albert Lee, director in the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion, has been re-appointed as a member of the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund Committee for one year from 1 April 2013.
• Dr. Ting Sun-pao Joseph, adjunct professor in the Department of History, has been re-appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Council of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust for two years from 1 April 2013.
