CUHK Engineering Scholar Receives IEEE MTT-S Award
Prof. Yu Ming of the Department of Electronic Engineering has been selected for the 2020 IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Microwave Application Award. The award honours outstanding applications of microwave theory and techniques that have been reduced to practice nominally 10 years before the award. Professor Yu is recognized for his contribution to the development of computer-aided and robotic tuning for filters and multiplexers, which are key to such microwave communication networks as 5G buildouts and satellites. The award will be conferred at the International Microwave Symposium this August.
