Accreditation for CUHK Speech Therapy Training Programme
CUHK launched the two-year full-time MSc in Speech-Language Pathology Programme in 2018 for students aspiring to be speech therapists. The programme has been assessed by the Hong Kong Institute of Speech Therapists and was granted this June ‘Provisional Endorsement’, the highest award for a new programme. Being the first and only accredited speech therapy training programme at CUHK, the programme enables graduates to apply to be a Member of Register of Speech Therapists under the Department of Health’s Accredited Registers Scheme for Healthcare Professions.
