Over 270 Exchange Students Join CUHK

previouspausenext

At the start of 2012, over 270 international and Chinese students embarked on a new learning journey at CUHK. The Office of Academic Links (OAL) organized an orientation programme from 3 to 7 January 2012 to familiarize these students with CUHK's environment, and provide support for learning.

Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the students at the orientation programme, while representatives of various units introduced on-campus facilities and services available. OAL colleagues provided tips on surviving in our busy city, and also helped students to finalize their course registration. Many of the students experienced their first Chinese banquet, which was held at S.H. Ho College, during the programme, while the master of the College, Prof. Samuel S.M. Sun, spoke about CUHK’s unique college system.
