第 309 期 2007 年 12 月 19 日 No. 309 19 December 2007 第三零九期　二零零七年十二月十九日 No. 309 19 December 2007 第六十四屆大會頒6,281學位 6,281 Degrees Conferred at the 64th Congregation 香 港中文大學於12月6日在校園舉行第六十四屆 頒授學位典禮大會，由大學監督、曾蔭權博士 大紫荊勳賢主持，頒授榮譽博士學位、高級學位及學 士學位6,281個，其中更首度頒授法律學位，包括兩名 法律博士及56名法學碩士。 大學今年共頒授榮譽博士學位予四位傑出人士，表彰 他們對促進文化學術和社會經濟發展、增進人民福 祉，以及對中大發展的偉大貢獻。 美國哈佛大學的莫理斯大學教授、香港中文大學基金 會（美國）董事 Dale W. Jorgenson 教授、香港聖公 會教省榮休大主教鄺廣傑博士，以及傑出企業家及慈 善家康本健守先生三位均獲頒授榮譽社會科學博士學 位。此外，香港特別行政區首任行政長官、全國政協 副主席董建華博士大紫荊勳賢則獲頒授榮譽法學博士 學位。他們的讚辭由 David Parker 教授、張洪年教 授及黃國彬教授撰讀。董建華博士在致答謝辭時稱畢 業生在語言、文化專業和國際接軌上，有著獨特的優 勢，呼籲他們在和平建設的年代抓緊機遇，關心和支 持祖國的發展。 同日各成員書院為其本科生舉行畢業典禮，主禮嘉賓 分別為香港機場管理局行政總裁許漢忠先生（崇基學 院）、樹仁大學校監胡鴻烈博士（新亞書院）、公務 員事務局常任秘書長黃灝玄先生（聯合書院）及商務 及經濟發展局常任秘書長（通訊科技）劉吳惠蘭女士 （逸夫書院）。 碩士學位課程畢業典禮則於12月7及8日在邵逸夫堂按 學院分五節舉行，由研究院院長黃永成教授主持，主 禮嘉賓有香港聖公會教省榮休大主教鄺廣傑博士、何 善衡慈善基金會有限公司董事兼伯利恆投資管理有限 公司董事何子樑醫生、運輸署署長黃志光先生、法律 學院執行委員會副主席及資深大律師梁定邦博士，以 及德昌電機集團主席及行政總裁汪穗中博士。 T he Chinese University of Hong Kong held its 64th Congregation for the Conferment of Degrees on 6 December 2007. Dr. the Honourable Donald Tsang, Chancellor of the University, presided at the Congregation. A total of 6,281 degrees and honorary degrees were conferred. The former included the first batch of 2 Juris Doctors and 56 Masters of Laws from the School of Law.
