A six-member delegation headed by Prof. Fung Tung, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, visited Taiwan Central University (NCU) on 9 March. He was accompanied by Prof. Ronald Chung and Prof. Liao Wei-hsin, chairman and professor of the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering respectively, Prof. Xiao Xudong and Prof. Li Quan of the Department of Physics.

The delegation met with representatives from NCU. Presentations and discussions were held on research work in energy and further collaboration activities. They also visited research units of the Engineering College to obtain latest information of their research projects.

CUHK established the Cross-Strait Green University Consortium with NCU and Nanjing University in 2011 with the aim to forge collaboration among the three universities in sustainable developments. The visit further strengthened academic linkage and consolidate efforts in research collaboration.
