The Department of Social Work invited Prof. Cho Chun-ying (left), associate professor, the Department of Social Work of Chang Jung Christian University, Taiwan to host a public lecture on 'Current Situation and Development of Social Welfare Services in Taiwan' on 26 August at United College. At the lecture, Professor Cho talked about the progress of Taiwan's social welfare system and the key factors that influenced its social welfare policies. She then gave a detailed presentation of the development of social welfare services and policies on the island, its current social problems and focuses of social welfare. Finally, she analyzed the current situation and development of social welfare services.
