- Prof. Albert Lee, director in the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion, has been re-appointed by the Chief Justice as a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel for three years from 2 December 2013.
- Prof. Chan Ngai-hang, professor in the Department of Statistics, has been appointed by the Financial Secretary as a member of the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board for three years from 1 January 2014.
- Prof. Leung May-yee Janny, professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, has been appointed by the Chief Secretary for Administration as a member of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council for two years from 1 January 2014.
- Prof. Chan Kay-sheung Paul, chairman and professor in the Department of Microbiology, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Licensing Appeals Board under the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance for two years from 1 January 2014.
