- Prof. Leung Wing-nang Albert, director and professor of the School of Chinese Medicine, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a member of the Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board for one year from 13 September 2014.
- Prof. Kwan Hoi-shan, professor of the School of Life Sciences, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a member of the Chinese Medicines Board for three years from 13 September 2014.
- Prof. Chan Chi-fai Andrew, Professor of Practice in Marketing, and Director of the Executive MBA Programme, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as chairman of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong for three years from 13 September 2014.
- Prof. Li Albert Martin, professor of the Department of Paediatrics, has been re-appointed by the Chief Justice as a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel for three years from 1 September 2014.
- Prof. Fung Ka Yiu Michael, professor of the Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics, has been re-appointed by the Chief Justice as a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel for three years from 1 September 2014.
