Aiming at encouraging the campus community to appreciate different types of music, Chung Chi College recently launched a music event FM 530 (Friday Music at 5:30pm) by inviting teachers and students to perform any kind of music they like at the University Station Piazza.

The opening ceremony of FM 530 was held on 6 March. Officiating guests included Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, CUHK Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Fong Wing-ping, acting head of Chung Chi College; and Prof. Lo Hau-man, music director of Chung Chi Wind Orchestra.

FM530 is held from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm every Friday except on university holidays and days with bad weather. Three trial performances were held recently which won over fans and critics. All are welcome to stop by and enjoy the pleasure of music.
