Senior Health Official Joins CUHK as Honorary Professor

CUHK organized a seminar on integrative medicine on 12 April. Prof. Wang Guoqiang, Vice Minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and Commissioner of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as over 200 government officials and experts in the field of Chinese medicine attended the event to share their experience and ideas. Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, CUHK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fok Tai-fai, CUHK Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Anthony Chan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine awarded an honorary professorship to Professor Wong in recognition of his dedication to the development of Chinese medicine.

In the past decade, Professor Wang has been dedicated to the standardization and penetration of Chinese Medicine both in China and around the globe. Professor Wang also supports the development of integrative medicine.
