'CUHK Entrepreneur Day 2015', a large scale entrepreneurship-themed event initiated by the CUHK Alumni Torch Fund, was held from 22 to 23 May on CUHK campus. It serves as a one-stop information hub and exchange platform for CUHK students and graduates, experienced entrepreneurs from the circle of CUHK alumni and the general public at large. The opening ceremony was officiated by Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung (centre), CUHK Vice-Chancellor; Mr. Godfrey Leung (4th right), Under-Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, HKSAR Government; and Mr. Raymond Yip (4th left), deputy executive director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
The event featured over 40 exhibitors from the various fields, including intelligent monitoring, genetic testing, mobile games, 3D printing, art promotion, food waste recycling. There were also talks for entrepreneurs delivered by CUHK alumni and experts.
