宣布事項 ANNOUNCEMENTS 新任講座教授 Professorial Appo i n tment 大學委任裴達禮教授（ Prof . H u g h B a k e r ) 為 人 文 學 科 講 座 教授，任期由二零零五年二月十八日起生效 。 裴達禮教授一九六七年取得倫敦大學東方研究哲學博士， 留 校任教中國語文達三十五年，又從事中國及香港研究多年， 曾 任香港政府中國語文訓練顧問和英國外交部香港事務顧問。 二 零零二年獲倫大頒授中國語文榮休講座教授銜 。 裴達禮教授出版的文章甚多，編著共十五種 。 Prof. Hugh Baker has been appointed professor of humanities from 18t h February 2005. Prof. Bake r received a Ph.D. i n oriental studies from the University o f London i n 1967. He taught Chinese for 35 years and spent much of his life conducting research on China an d Hong Kong . He has been consultant t o the Hong Kong Departmen t o f the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK an d Chinese language training adviser to the Hong Kong government . He was appointed professor emeritu s o f Chinese by th e University o f London in 2002 . Prof. Baker has published a great number of books and articles on China and Hong Kong. 二零零四年長期服務獎 Long Service Award 2004 二十名同人服務大學滿二十五年，獲頒授長期服務獎。頒獎典禮於本月四日 在 大學賓館舉行，由劉遵義校長主持。得獎名單如下 ︰ This year, 20 staff members of the University who have served CUHK fo r 25 years wil l receive the Long Servic e Award.
