The New Asia College staff football team played a friendly match with the Hong Kong Police Force football team, which was led by Commissioner of Police, Mr. Tang King-shing, on 17 November. Mr. Lee Ming-kwai, an outstanding alumnus of New Asia, former Commissioner of Police and a CUHK Council Member designate then, officiated at the kick-off ceremony and showed his support for both teams. The NA staff team defeated the police team by 3:2.
Prof. Henry N.C Wong, Head of New Asia College said in the ceremony that the College strives to nurture students with diverse developments. Many of its alumni excel in their career fields. History graduate Mr. Lee Ming-kwai is certainly one of them.
