46 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2017–2018 獎學金得主聚會 「陳廷驊基金會獎學金」得主,於2018年 3月1日出席「陳廷驊基金會獎學金生圓桌聚 會」。該獎學金鼓勵學生參與社會活動和師 友計劃,藉此促進其個人發展。出席嘉賓包 括基金會信託人張惠慶先生(左二)、基金會 執行董事鄒秉基先生(右一)、中大校長段崇 智教授(右二),以及協理副校長王淑英教 授(左一)。(上圖) 隆誼銘記 田家炳基金會捐出三百萬港元,作為中大 推行學生全人發展計劃的資金。受助同學 於2018年3月22日的交流會上,與基金會代 表共聚,暢談參與全人發展培訓的見聞和 裨益。 助學金受益人茶聚 逾四十名上海總會奮進助學金得主出席 2018年6月9日舉行的茶聚,與上海總會代表 聚首一堂。上海總會捐出一百三十萬港元,為 本地全日制本科生設立助學金,名額最多為 六十五個,當中十五個助學金須授予和聲書 院學生。 Gathering for Scholarship Recipients Recipients of D.H. Chen Foundation Scholarships gathered at the D.H. Chen Foundation Scholars Roundtable Discussion on 1 March 2018. The scholarships aim to promote students’ personal development by encouraging them to participate in social activities and mentorship programmes. The event is attended by Mr. Cheung Wai-hing, Trustee and Chairman of the Education Committee of the Foundation (2nd left); Mr. Alan Chow, Executive Director of the Foundation (1st right); Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK (2nd right), and Prof. Wong Suk-ying, Associate Vice-President of CUHK (1st left). (Top photo) Commemorating Dr. Tin’s Generosity The Tin Ka Ping Foundation donated HK$3 million to the University to support whole-person development projects for students. A sharing session was held on 22 March 2018 in which beneficiaries of the projects met with representatives from the Foundation. Tea Gathering for Bursary Beneficiaries Over 40 recipients of the Shanghai Fraternity Association Diligence Bursaries met with the representatives of the Association in a tea gathering on 9 June 2018. The Association donated HK$1.3 million to set up 65 bursaries for full-time local undergraduates, and a quota of 15 scholarships was designated for students from Lee Woo Sing College.
