Prior to joining CUHK in 2011, he taught at the Universities of Aberdeen, Reading, Edinburgh, Lancaster, Sussex, Notre Dame and Antwerp. He has acted as a consultant to the Scottish Executive in respect of their Human Rights obligations under the Scotland Act 1998 and the Human Rights Act 1998, and as adviser to the Scottish Parliament on a number of criminal law, criminal justice and criminal procedure Bills and as adviser to the Scottish Government on European Union criminal law and procedure. He was appointed an Honorary Sheriff of Grampian Highland and Islands at Aberdeen in 1997. Professor Gane is a member of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong. 陳家亮教授， SBS ， JP Prof. Francis K.L. Chan, SBS , JP 由2013年1月1日起為當然成員 ex officio from 1 January 2013 香港中文大學醫學院院長 Dean of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong 陳教授現為中大醫學院院長及內科及藥物治療學 講座教授，亦為腸道微生物群研究中心主任。他在 1997年加入中大，曾出任醫學院暫任院長（2013至 2014年）、副院長（臨床）（2010至2012年）、助理 院長（常務）（2004至2011年），以及消化疾病研究 所所長（2010至2012年）。他是醫院管理局成員、 香港中西醫結合學會名譽顧問及香港賽馬會災難防 護應變教研中心理事會成員。他獲頒授多項榮譽， 包括美國腸胃科醫學院國際領袖大獎（2018年）。 Professor Chan is Dean of Medicine and Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics of CUHK, and also Director of the Centre for Gut Microbiota Research. He joined CUHK in 1997 and was Interim Dean (2013–2014), Associate Dean (Clinical) (2010– 2012) and Assistant Dean (General Affairs) (2004– 2011) of the Faculty of Medicine, and Director of the Institute of Digestive Disease (2010–2012). He is Board Member of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Honorary Adviser of the Hong Kong Association for Integration of Chinese-Western Medicine and Member of the Governing Board of Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response. He has been awarded numerous honours, including the American College of Gastroenterology International Leadership Award 2018. 謝作偉教授 Prof. Xie Zuowei 由2018年5月1日起為當然成員 ex officio from 1 May 2018 香港中文大學理學院院長（暫任） Dean of Science (Interim), The Chinese University of Hong Kong 謝教授現為中大理學院暫任院長及化學講座教授， 在1995年加入中大前，他先後在上海有機化學研究 所擔任助理研究員及在南加州大學擔任博士後研究 員。於2017年獲選為中國科學院院士，曾獲頒授多 項榮譽，包括中國化學會青年化學獎、中國科學院 自然科學獎一等獎、國家自然科學獎三等獎、裘槎 基金會優秀科研者獎、國家自然科學獎二等獎及中 國化學會黄耀曾金屬有機化學獎。 Professor Xie is Interim Dean of Science and Professor of Chemistry of CUHK. Prior to joining CUHK in 1995, he was a research associate in the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, and post-doctoral fellow in the University of Southern California. He has been elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) (2017) and has been awarded numerous honours, such as the Chinese Chemical Society Award for Outstanding Young Chemist, the Natural Science Award fromCAS (first-class), the State Natural Science Prize (third class), The Croucher Senior Research Fellowship, the State National Science Prize (second-class) and the Chinese Chemical Society Yao-Zeng Huang Award in Organometallic Chemistry. 趙志裕教授 Prof. Chiu Chi-yue 由2014年11月11日起為當然成員 ex officio from 11 November 2014 香港中文大學社會科學院院長 Dean of Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong 趙教授現為中大社會科學院院長及心理學教授。加 入中大（2014年）前，先後在新加坡南洋理工大學、 伊利諾伊大學及香港大學任教，並曾擔任中大社會 科學院訪問教授（2012年）及香港亞太研究所名譽 研究員（2010至2014年）。趙教授是多項國際學刊 和叢書編輯，並與中國社會科學院合作，每年義務 培訓世界各地華人社科學者。 Professor Chiu is Dean of Social Science and Professor of Psychology of CUHK.
