Lamb Award 中大科學院劉仁保教授獲頒2022年度 「激光科學與量子光學蘭姆獎」，以表 彰他在自旋退相干和量子傳感相關研 究的開創性貢獻。劉教授今年亦獲美 國光學學會選為2022年度會士，肯定 了他在非線性光學、量子光學及量子信 息技術應用的貢獻。 Professor Liu Renbao of the Faculty of Science received the 2022 Willis E. Lamb Award for Laser Science and Quantum Optics in recognition of his seminal contributions to spin decoherence and quantum sensing. Professor Liu was also elected an Optica Fellow in 2022 for his original contributions to nonlinear and quantum optics, and their applications in quantum information technologies. 「希望之手」光耀全球 CUHK academic named Global Ageing Influencer 2021 工程學院湯啟宇教授在第九屆「亞太 區護老創意獎」頒獎典禮中榮獲「2021 全球護老創新最具影響力者」大獎，表 彰他透過推動復康科技、計劃及服務， 提升全球長者生活水平所作出的傑出 成就。該頒獎禮等同亞太區「護老業界 奧斯卡」，備受矚目。湯教授是復康機 械手「希望之手」的發明人，更於中大 成立全港首個生物醫學工程學系，貢獻 殊深。 Professor Raymond Tong of the Faculty of Engineering, inventor of the “Hand of Hope” exoskeleton robotic hand for stroke rehabilitation, was honoured with the Global Ageing Influencers 2021 award at the 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovations Awards Ceremony, commonly known as “the Oscars” of the region’s eldercare industry, for his outstanding achievements in rehabilitation innovations, programmes and services that advance the standard of living for older adults globally. He has also made a distinguished contribution by establishing the first university Biomedical Engineering Department in Hong Kong, at CUHK. 腸胃科研專家獲頒殊榮 Gastroenterologist claims prestigious award 醫學院助理院長暨卓敏內科及藥物治 療學講座教授于君教授榮獲中國工程 院頒發第十四屆「光華工程科學獎」， 表揚她在胃腸道腫瘤研究的成就。此 兩年一度的獎項是中國工程科學技術 及工程管理領域的最高榮譽。 Professor Yu Jun, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics and Assistant Dean of CUHK’s Faculty of Medicine, received the 14 th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Academy of Engineering for her distinguished achievements in gastrointestinal cancer studies. The biennial award is the most prestigious honour in Chinese engineering science and technology, and engineering management.
