2021–2022 年度概覽 Highlights 19 優秀青年學者屢獲嘉獎 Rising stars on the cusp of greatness 多位來自不同專業範疇的中大青年學者展現優厚潛質，憑藉 出色研究表現，獲國際專業機構頒贈榮銜。 工程學院盧怡君教授獲騰訊基金會頒發2021年「科學探索 獎」，成為本年度三位香港區得獎人之一。盧教授為中大優 秀的青年學者，在能源環保領域擁有卓越科研成就。 理學院劉琳教授以創新方法推進太空大地測量學發展的 傑出貢獻，獲美國地球物理聯盟頒發2021年度John Wahr Early Career Award，是首位香港學者獲頒此榮譽。貴為已 故著名地球物理學家John Wahr教授的得意門生，能獲授以 恩師命名的獎項，劉教授與有榮焉。 崇基學院神學院黃慧賢教授憑藉項目「基進社會運動與普世 教會網絡：分析香港殖民時期（1960至90年代）三個基督教 非政府機構」，獲研究資助局頒發「傑出青年學者獎」，以嘉 許她對跨國基督教歷史研究領域的貢獻。黃教授的研究分析 跨國普世教會網絡對香港殖民時代社會運動的影響。 中大五位年輕科學家獲頒國家自然科學基金2021年度「國 家優秀青年科學基金」，數目為歷年之最。基金支持在基礎 研究方面取得佳績的年輕學者，在其自選的研究方向進一步 開展創新研究，藉此培育有望進入世界科技前沿的優秀學 術人才。 Promising faculty members from various disciplines demonstrated their capacity for exceptional work in their respective fields, earning recognition from esteemed professional organisations. Professor Lu Yi-chun from the Faculty of Engineering became one of the three young scholars from Hong Kong to be awarded the Xplorer Prize 2021 by the Tencent Foundation, in recognition of her pioneering achievements in the field of energy and environmental protection. Professor Liu Lin from the Faculty of Science received the 2021 John Wahr Early Career Award from the American Geophysical Union for making significant advances in space geodesy innovation. He is the first in Hong Kong to receive this honour, which is named after his former academic advisor, the late geophysicist Professor John Wahr. Professor Christina Wong Wai-yin at the Chung Chi College Divinity School received the 2021 Early Career Award from the Research Grants Council in recognition of her outstanding achievements in researching the transnational history of Christianity. Her award-winning project, “Radical social movements and networked ecumenism: an analysis of three Christian NGOs in colonial Hong Kong, 1960s–1990s”, delves into how transnational ecumenical networks established and supported social movements in colonial Hong Kong.
