28 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2021–2022 亞洲及大洋洲 亞 Asia and Oceania s 18.4% 19.7% 放眼全球 Global engagement At CUHK, we welcome exchange students from different countries and regions to immerse themselves in our vibrant, multicultural campus, while providing opportunities for local students to travel outside Hong Kong for intensive exposure to foreign cultures and communities at partner universities around the world. Although the total numbers of inbound and outbound exchange students remain below their pre-pandemic levels, the gradual easing of travel restrictions has prompted a rebound in numbers.
