社會責任 Social Responsibility 49 2021年11月,中大與國家自然科學基金委員會 以線上線下混合模式合辦為期兩天的 「氣候變 化、健康與可持續發展學術研討會」 ,促進京 港學者跨學科交流。2022年5月,中大贊助南華 早報舉辦 「香港氣候變化峰會」 ,匯聚政策制 定者、業界領袖、科學家和倡導者進行專業知 識和意見交流,籌劃如何幫助香港達致碳中 和。 中大對推動氣候變化的公眾教育不遺餘力。 在香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的資助下,大學於 2013年在校園内成立 賽馬會氣候變化博物館 (MoCC),為全球首家以氣候變化為主題的 博物館。MoCC於2021年12月舉行八周年館慶 暨銘謝牆揭幕禮。自創館以來,MoCC一直為大 學成員、全港學校及社會人士舉辦恆常展覽、 互動工作坊、講座及各類型外展活動,鼓勵大 眾節能減廢,提倡低碳生活等。中大學生踴躍 參與MoCC的「博物館大使」計劃,多年來,計 劃共培訓超過八百名學生大使,服務近四十萬 名參觀者。 In November 2021, CUHK and the National Natural Science Foundation of China co-hosted the Academic Symposium on Climate Change, Health and Sustainability. The two-day event, held in a hybrid mode, brought scholars from Hong Kong and Beijing together for meaningful interdisciplinary academic exchanges. In May 2022, CUHK sponsored the Climate Change Hong Kong Summit organised by South China Morning Post. The event served as a useful platform for policy- makers, industry leaders, scientists and advocates to exchange professional knowledge and insights, in order to map out a journey to achieving carbon neutrality in our city. CUHK has a long-standing commitment to championing public education in response to climate change. Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, it established the Jockey ClubMuseumof Climate Change (MoCC) on campus in 2013. The first museum of its kind in the world celebrated its 8th anniversary and held a launch ceremony for the MoCC Donor Wall in December 2021. MoCC has been making great efforts to promote energy conservation, waste reduction and low-carbon lifestyle transformation among University members and the public through exhibitions, workshops, talks and an extensive range of outreach activities targeting schools and the wider community in Hong Kong. CUHK students are deeply involved with the MoCC via its flagship service-learning internship programme, the MoCC Ambassadorship.
