2022-2023 年度概覽 Highlights 17 邵逸夫獎2023 Shaw Prize 2023 中大博文訪問講座教授及數學科學研究所（IMS）所長丘成桐教授 獲頒2023年度邵逸夫數學科學獎，以表彰他對現代幾何與拓撲學 發展的重大貢獻。 Professor Yau Shing-tung, CUHK’s Distinguished Visiting Professor- at-Large and Director of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMS), received the Shaw Prize 2023 in Mathematical Sciences for his crucial contributions to the development of modern geometry and topology. 教資會傑出教學獎2022 UGC Teaching Award 2022 研究院院長、晨興書院副院長及系統 工程與工程管理學系教授蘇文藻教授 獲大學教育資助委員會頒發2022年度 傑出教學獎（一般教學人員），以表揚 他積極推動學生為本教學，並銳意創 新，帶領工程學院推動課程改革，促進 工程與人文學科的跨領域學習。 Professor Anthony So Man-cho, Dean of the Graduate School, Deputy Master of Morningside College and Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, claimed the University Grants Committee Teaching Award 2022 (General Faculty Members) for his achievements in learner- centred teaching and his leadership in multidisciplinary curriculum and programme design. Professor So has led the Engineering Faculty’s creative endeavours in curriculum reform by pioneering interdisciplinary learning in engineering and humanities. 丘教授多年來鼎力支持中大培養數學人才。2022年，他以先父之名 在中大數學系及IMS設立「丘鎮英數學助理/副教授席」。他更承諾 將邵逸夫獎之獎金捐贈給中大，支持IMS以其母親之名設立「梁若 琳博士後基金」。丘教授的慷慨捐助推動中大持續作育英才，創造 卓越的數學科研成就。 Professor Yau has consistently supported CUHK’s endeavours to nurture mathematics talents. In 2022, he established the Chiu Chin Yin Early Career Professorship, which was named after his late father, and is jointly hosted by the IMS and the Department of Mathematics. Upon receiving the Shaw Prize, he pledged to donate the monetary award to establish a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the IMS, to be named the Leung Yeuk Lam Postdoctoral Fellowship after his late mother. This visionary gift will make a major contribution to talent cultivation and retention, and strengthening academic research in mathematical sciences at CUHK.
