2022-2023 年度概覽 Highlights 19 科學探索獎2023 Xplorer Prize 2023 物理系吳藝林教授憑藉其關於生命物 質的自組織和湧現力學行為之研究， 獲頒2023年度前沿交叉領域科學探索 獎。該獎項鼓勵年輕科學家進行創新 研究，促進國家科學技術發展。 Professor Wu Yilin from the Department of Physics was presented with the Xplorer Prize 2023 in the field of advanced interdisciplinary studies for his research into the self- organisation and emergent mechanics of living active matter. The Xplorer Prize aims to recognise young scientists who pursue innovative research that leads the way in advancing science and technology in our country. 新基石研究員2022 New Cornerstone Investigators 2022 中大卓敏數學講座教授何旭華教授及 卓敏物理學講座教授劉仁保教授獲選 為騰訊「新基石研究員項目」的首屆新 基石研究員，成為三位入選的香港科學 家之一，各獲得不超於1,500萬元人民 幣研究基金，支持基礎科學研究。大學 於2023年5月12日為新基石科學實驗室 舉行揭牌儀式。 Professor He Xuhua, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Mathematics, and Professor Liu Renbao, Cho-Ming Li Professor of Physics, were among the three Hong Kong scholars to enter the inaugural cohort of the New Cornerstone Investigator Programme established by Tencent. As New Cornerstone Investigators, they will each receive up to RMB15 million in support of their basic research projects.
