社會責任 Social Responsibility 55 中大地球月 2023 CUHK Earth Month 2023 參與國際環保聯盟 Nature Positive Universities Alliance 中大是香港首家訂立實現碳中和目標的大學，一直積極倡導環保及支持氣候行動。 As the first university in Hong Kong to make a carbon neutrality pledge, CUHK is actively involved in environmental stewardship and climate action. 保護環境 STEWARDING ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY Building on the annual celebration of Earth Day 2023, CUHK’s Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, the Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office, and The Hong Kong Chapter of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Solutions Network presented a series of activities during CUHK Earth Month in March and April 2023 to raise awareness of sustainability issues and inspire actions to improve the health of our planet. Through workshops, seminars, discussion forums and exhibitions, the CUHK community was encouraged to make more sustainable choices in their daily lives. CUHK plays a crucial role in international alliances that facilitate environmentally friendly action. This year saw it participate in the Nature Positive Universities Alliance, part of the United Nations Environment Programme. As one of the founding members, CUHK has taken an official pledge to assess its environmental impact, and take tailored action to restore ecosystems and biodiversity, in order to achieve sustainable development. The Alliance seeks to combine the expertise and resources of 110 universities from more than 45 countries to develop conservation and environmental protection solutions. 為響應2023年世界地球日，中大賽馬會氣候 變化博物館、社會責任及可持續發展處和聯 合國可持續發展解決方案網絡香港地區分會 於2023年3月至4月舉辦「中大地球月2023」 ，透過工作坊、座談會、論壇及展覽等多項活 動，提高大學成員對環境的關注，在日常生活 中做出更能推動可持續發展的選擇，以實際 行動保護地球。 中大一直在國際聯盟中擔當重要角色，致 力宣揚環保。本年度，大學加入聯合國環 境規劃署之Nature Positive Universities Alliance，成為創辦成員之一，與超過45個 國家的110多家大學共同承諾，評估校內的 生態足跡，並採取相應改善行動，推動高等 教育界攜手修復環境和促進生物多樣性，實 現可持續發展。該聯盟旨在匯聚全球大學的 專業知識和資源，為環境保育出一分力。
