6 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2022–2023 「QS世界大學排名」中，中大過去五年 皆穩居前50名。我們非常榮幸獲得《 美國新聞與世界報道》2023年「全球最 佳大學排名」的充分認可，讓中大排名 升至歷史新高，位列第53位，冠絕全港 大學。此外，中大更首次躋身「THE世界 大學影響力」全球前100名，成績令人鼓 舞。各項佳績體現中大在國際高等教 育界的影響力，不但在教育和研究領域 保持領先地位，更在履行大學社會責任 和推動聯合國可持續發展目標的道路上 與日俱進。 本年報重點介紹大學過去一年的重要 成就。我再次衷心感謝全體中大成員、 支持者、合作夥伴和廣大社會人士對我 們堅定不移的信任和支持，使中大能夠 續創佳績。 我誠邀各位細閱本年報，並繼續支持中 大在教育、研究、創新和社區服務等方 面追求卓越，讓我們能夠推動香港、國 家以至全世界在走向光輝的未來。 香港中文大學校長 段崇智教授 the rankings in 2013. In the THE World University Rankings, meanwhile, it rose to 45th, continuing its upward trajectory of the past three consecutive years. In the QS World University Rankings, CUHK has comfortably secured a position in the top 50 for the past five years. We were highly honoured to be recognised by the Best Global Universities Rankings 2023 of the U.S. News & World Report, which ranked CUHK at a historic high of 53rd place, making it the top university in Hong Kong. Equally exciting was the news that CUHK had broken into the world’s top 100 for the first time in the THE Impact Rankings. Such impressive results demonstrate the University’s stature and continued influence in the global higher education community, not only in education and research, but also in its progress towards fulfilling university social responsibility and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The following chapters highlight our landmark achievements in this significant year in the University’s history. These accomplishments are the fruits of labour of the tireless dedication and unwavering support of the entire CUHK community, donors, strategic partners and friends in the wider community, to whom I owe gratitude beyond words. As I commend this report to you, I also ask for your continued support in our endeavours to pursue excellence in education, research, innovation and community outreach, so that we can be the wind in the sails of Hong Kong, our country and the world during our journey towards a splendid future.
