內地與全球聯繫 Mainland and Global Engagement 47 鞏固全球聯繫 Cementing global links 作為領先亞洲的大學，中大匯聚世界各地合作夥伴的專業知識，尋找應對全球挑戰的解決方案。 As a leading university in Asia, CUHK pools expertise from partners around the world to tackle global challenges. 團結高等教育領袖 Uniting leaders of higher education Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Rocky S. Tuan was elected Chair of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), a network of some 60 leading universities in the region, for the year 2023-2024. The association leverages the collective education and research capabilities of its members to address pressing challenges in the world and to impact international public policy. In December 2023, CUHK hosted the Diamond Jubilee University Presidents’ Forum to discuss the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in research and education, which was joined by more than 120 global academic leaders. In the same month, we co-organised the inaugural Sino-US University Presidents’ Dialogue with Peking University to discuss the shared future of universities in the two countries through collaboration. 校長段崇智教授（前排左七）主持環太平洋大學聯盟 2024 年 6 月在奧克蘭大學舉行的周年大會 Vice-Chancellor Professor Rocky S.Tuan (7 th from left, front) chaired the APRUAnnual Presidents’ Meeting at the University of Auckland in June 2024 「中美高水平大學校長對話」匯  聚逾 30 位中美頂尖大學的領袖 The Sino-US University Presidents’ Dialogue gathered more than 30 senior delegates from leading institutions in China and the US 校長段崇智教授當選 2023-2024 年度環太 平洋大學聯盟主席。聯盟由 60 多所頂尖大 學組成，匯聚各成員的實力，為國際公共 政策出謀獻策。 2023 年 12 月，中大主辦「鑽禧校慶活動﹕ 大學校長論壇」，主題為「創新、教育及創 業精神：不斷革新的教研路向」，雲集全 球逾 120 位學術領袖。同月，中大與北京大 學合辦首屆「中美高水平大學校長對話」， 探討中美大學之間的成功合作模式。
