94 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2023–2024 拓展及社區關係委員會 Committee on Institutional Advancement and Community Relations 拓展及社區關係委員會就大學的拓展及籌募和對外 聯繫作出建議，以促進大學的利益，並就大學及書院 的發展相關的事宜給予意見。該委員會就如何與大學 持份者交流提供指導，並加強聯繫及與持份者的溝 通。委員會並審核及向大學校董會建議通過有關籌 款、接受捐贈及冠名的政策及指引，就籌款策略和支 持計劃作出建議，及審核並向大學校董會建議接受捐 贈和/或冠名。 The Committee on Institutional Advancement and Community Relations advises on institutional advancement and outreach strategies in order to promote the University’s interests and advises on matters related to University and Colleges development. The Committee offers guidance on the University’s stakeholders’ engagement and strengthens networks and enhances communications with key stakeholders. The Committee also reviews and recommends for Council’s approval policies and guidelines in relation to fundraising, acceptance of donation, and name recognition, advises on fundraising strategies and supporting programmes, and reviews and recommends for Council’s approval the acceptance of donation and/or name recognition. 大學校董會執行委員會 Executive Committee of the Council 大學校董會執行委員會就大學校董會討論的策略性 事宜向大學校董會作出建議，並向大學校董會就其 屬下委員會推薦合適的人選，供大學校董會核准/審 議，以出任相關的大學校董會屬下委員會成員。委員 會並獲大學校董會授權贊成委任大學全資擁有的公 司及其附屬公司（如適用）的董事，及委任顧問出任 與大學相關的校董會成員。 The Executive Committee of the Council advises and makes recommendations to the Council on strategic matters for discussion at Council, and recommends suitable candidates, for approval/consideration by the Council, to serve as members of the Council committees. The Committee also gives consent, on delegated authority by Council, for the appointments of Directors of University wholly-owned companies and their subsidiaries where applicable, and appoints advisers to sit on Boards or Trustees that are related to the University. 財務委員會 Finance Committee 財務委員會依據《香港中文大學條例》成立及按規定 處理凡屬大學校董會管轄範圍內而又在財務方面有 重大關連之事宜。 The Finance Committee, as a statutory committee of the Council, deals with all matters within the jurisdiction of the Council which have important financial implications. 管治及企業可持續發展委員會 Governance and Corporate Sustainability Committee 管治及企業可持續發展委員會就大學管治的相關事 宜向大學校董會提供意見及建議，檢討大學職責的 有效性及向大學校董會提出相應的建議。委員會定 期檢討大學校董會的效能，並審核獲大學校董會授 權的法律、合規及程序事宜，向大學校董會給予意 見。委員會亦監察大學的可持續發展績效，及向大學 校董會建議核准有關大學於企業及機構可持續發展 的策略和政策。 The Governance and Corporate Sustainability Committee provides advice and recommendation to Council on matters relating to University governance, reviews effectiveness of the mandates of the University and advises the Council accordingly. The Committee reviews the effectiveness of the Council periodically and advises the Council accordingly, and reviews legal, compliance and procedural issues delegated by the Council to advise the Council accordingly. The Committee also monitors the University's sustainability performance and recommends for Council's approval University's strategies and policies on corporate and institutional sustainability. 榮譽學位委員會 Honorary Degrees Committee 榮譽學位委員會負責就頒授榮譽博士學位事宜向大 學校董會作出推薦。 The Honorary Degrees Committee is responsible for recommending the award of Honorary Degrees to the Council.
