Projects i n the pipeline include extension of the campus n e t wo rk to student hostels, bu i l d i ng a high- p e r f o rma n ce compute-intensive platform, regional Internet developments, technical c o l l abo r a t i on w i t h academic institutions i n China, self-sustained Internet service to a l umn i, v i r t u al r e a l i ty a p p l i c a t i o n s, a nd d i s t r i b u t ed c l i en t - s e r v er a dm i n i s t r a t i ve applications. 校園建設 B u i l d i n gs a n d Am e n i t i es 隨著師生人數大幅增長，教研活動日趨蓬勃，本校基本建設亦迅速擴充，重建及修葺 工程更是全年不斷。 I n the face of the very substantial increase in b o th student a nd staff p o p u l a t i on and escalated academic activities in teaching and research, the University's physical plant u n d e r we nt another year of massive expansion, spatial reorganization, a nd renovation. 崇基校園之教學樓群重建工程第二、三、四期相繼完成，於九四年秋季啓用。新樓分 別名命爲王福元樓、教學樓第三座及信和樓，這些新樓設施新穎完善，容納了社會科學院 的四個學系及學院院務室，環境研究中心，和崇基學院之行政部門。 科學館於工程學系遷離後，進行了重要的改建及修葺工程，以擴闊使用面積。 上海總會科研技術中心的地盤準備工作、打樁及地基工程均於年內完成，上蓋工程即 將開始。此新建築物位於海傍靠火車站處，將爲醫科和理科學系提供教研輔助設施。 新亞書院樂群館加建的兩層高附翼，可於一九九五至九六年度啓用，爲書院師生提供 更多康樂設施。 上海總會科硏技術中心 地盤 The Shanghai Fraternity Association Research Services Centre under construction
