電腦訓練班 A computer training course 九六年夏季在海外從事研究。 •會議補助金:校方提供津貼予三百零一位成功申請者前往海外出席學術或專業會議。 •進修津貼:各部門均獲分配員工訓練及發展預算,以提高僱員的工作技能和知識。本年度 共有六十個按(乙)類及(丙)類服務條款受聘職員的申請獲得批准,資助總額十一萬港 元。是項津貼年內初次擴及按(甲)類服務條款受聘的教職員,資助他們參加實用講座、 工作坊及短期課程。 •內部培訓計劃:人事處為廿三位新聘執行助理及事務助理舉辦行政人員訓練課程,也為四 十九名新聘文書僱員舉辦入職輔導課程;而電算機服務中心則為一千二百六十多位教職員 舉辦電腦應用訓練課程。 The University has always encouraged staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills to cope w i t h changing job requirements and to improve career prospects. In 1995-96, over 1,700 staff members benefited f r om different training and developmen t programmes: • Staff development programmes and grants: A total of 17 teaching and administrativ e staff members received support f r om the Universit y or external sources in the f o rm of scholarships, fellowships, special grant s or training leave to further their studies, training, or research at local or overseas institutions of higher education . • Special grants for conducting research abroa d du r i ng summer: Grants amounting to HK$770,000 were approved by the University for 30 applications f r om teachers t o carry out quality research outside Hong Kong in the summer of 1996. • Conference grants: Financial assistance was given to 301 successful applicants to attend 教職員 Staff 44
