Hands-on workshops and suppor t teams were also organized to ensure the smooth running of the new administrative systems. 校 園建設 Campus Deve l opmen t 中大校園二十多年來不斷擴展和重建，樓宇面積平均每年增加超過一萬平方米，近年增 長尤速。早期校園發展以建設樓宇及擴充設備為主’現在則著重設施之品質與安全，各項設 施以現代化、美觀和高經濟效益為目標。 一九九五至九六年度校園建設秉持繼往開來的目標，積極進取，以備未來發展。 The University's physical plan t has undergone remarkable development and re-development over the past 25 years. Constructed space has been expanding b y no less than 10,000 m2 per year, and the rate has almost doubled i n the recent periods. Whils t the earliest efforts were concentrated on campus bu i l d i n g and the expansion of facilities, more recent objectives have included the quality and safety of facilities as we l l as their modernization, aesthetics, economics, and future development. The year 1995-96 was again a hectic and p r odu c t i v e year i n terms of campus development, w i th muc h groundwork laid for accommodating changes and meeting future challenges. 重點發展 Cap i t a l Projects 是年新樓宇建造進展不俗，上海總會科研技術 中心快將落成，為醫科和理科學系提供動物飼養及 教研輔助服務；而崇基學院教學樓群第五期重建計 劃、新理科大樓和兩幢職員宿舍已動工興建。 校方又積極籌劃多座學生宿舍和 眦 鄰大學火車 站的工程及商科大樓，以及擴建保安交通中心和何 善衡工程學大樓。 上海總會科研技術中心 TheShanghai Fraternity Association Research ServicesCentre Academi c SupportFacilities 教學 輔助設 施 63
