新理科大樓地盤 Constructionsite of thenewscience building Du r i ng the year under review , much progress was achieved i n the construction of new buildings. The Shanghai Fraternity Association Research Services Centre wh i ch is near completion w i l l soon provide animal holding and technical support services for the faculties of science and medicine. Other capita l projects such as phase V redevelopment of teaching buildings on Chung Chi campus, a new science building, and two tower blocks of staff quarters, are at different stages of progress. I n the pipeline are several student hostels an d new facilities for the faculties of engineering and business administration nea r the University Train Station. Extensions to the Transport and Security Depot and the Ho Sin-Hang Engineering Building have also been planned. 翻新及升格工程 Renovation and Up g r a d i ng 崇基學院教學樓群第七和第八座的翻新工程快將完竣，屆時可為走讀生提供較廣闊的休 憩場所。學生宿舍房間加設獨立電話線路和電腦網絡系統的工程正如火如荼，而崇基兩幢古 舊學生宿舍一應林堂及華連堂——已徹底翻新 。 其他升格改善工程如圖書館與職員宿舍設備 ， 以至配電系統，香港生物科技研究院大規 模裝修，和逸夫書院大講堂裝置舞台機械系統等工程亦相繼完成。 Building blocks V I I and V I I I on Chung Chi campus were thoroughly renovated in 1995-96 and w i l l soon provide much-needed day amenities for commuting students.
