員工福利 staff Benefits 本校為改善僱員的醫療福利,新設「額外門診服務計劃」,由一九九六年十一月一日起試辦一年。 合資袼的大學敎職員及其直系親屬可獲大學補助,於特約診所接受門診服務。計劃內現有特約診 所七間,分別位於中區、尖沙咀、牛頭角、深水埗、沙田、荃灣及屯門。校方會繼續邀請其他地 區的診所加入,而大學保健處則維持向有的醫療服務。換言之,敎職員現有更多選擇。 To improve medical benefits for staff members, the University launched an Extra Outpatient Consultation Services Scheme for a trial period of one year from 1 st November 1996. Under the scheme, eligible staff members and their dependants enjoy the convenience of receiving subsidized outpatient consultatio n services at designated clinics under contract with the University. By the end of 1996-97, there were seven designated clinic s located in different regions on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon, and the New Territories. The University would continue to explore the incorporation of more clinics to the scheme, while existing services provided by th e University Health Service would remain unchanged, meaning that eligible staff members now enjoy more choice and greater convenience. 敎職員培訓及發展 staff Training and Development 本校極重視敎職員培訓及發展,經常鼓勵員工進修,以配合不斷改變的工作需要或締造更佳的晉 升機會。年內各項培訓及發展計劃的受惠人數如下: •敎職員進修計劃:七名敎師及行政人員獲校方或校外基金給予獎助學金或假期,在本港或海外 專上院校進修、受訓,或開展硏究工作。 •暑期海外研究工作特別補助金:校方撥出七十七萬港元,資助二十七項計劃,供敎師於一九九 七年夏季往海外從事研究。 •會議補助金:校方提供津貼予二百九十七名成功申請者於本港及海外出席學術或專業會議。 57 Staf f
