No growth in student enrolment was registered. On 31 st December 1996, the enrolment figur e stood at 12,846, of whom 80 per cent were undergraduates and 20 per cent postgraduates. The Faculty of Social Science registered the largest number of undergraduate students and was the largest faculty in terms of total student enrolment. The ratio of male to femal e students in the whole university was about 1 to 1.1, with more female students particularly in the facultie s of arts, business administration, education, and social science. 畢業生 Graduates 一九六至九七年內共有四千五百八十五名學生完成學業，其中三千五百廿二名為本科生，三 八十二名為研究院文憑課程學生，六百八十一名為研究院高級學位課程學生。自一九六六年至 今，本校畢業生人數已達五萬一千七百六十—人。本年度本科畢業生人數增幅為百分之十三，其 中一百廿七人於第一學期結束後已完成修業要求而於學年中畢業，這是一九九一至九二年度起實 施的靈活學分制的特色之一。 62 學 生
