In 1997-98 , 64 1 student s benefite d fro m th e Universit y an d College Studen t Campu s Wor k Schemes , fo r whic h som e HK$1.50 millio n wa s disbursed . 心理輔導 學生事務處心理輔導組除了提供個人輔導外，亦經常舉辦不同性質和 主題的活動，協助學生適應大學生活，促進個人發展及保持心理健 康。本年接受個人輔導的學生逾五百名，而參與其他活動的學生則超 過八百名。 接受個人輔導的學生之中，逾六成是主動求助，約兩成為健康問卷調 查後需要跟進服務的一年級新生，其餘則由大學保健處、各學系及 行政部門轉介。 該組又與就業輔導組合作，為畢業生舉辦更多就業輔導活動；另推出 電腦網頁，以便學生迅速掌握有關心理輔導服務的資訊。 Psychological Counselling Service Psychological counsellin g an d developmenta l grou p programmes wer e offere d t o student s throughou t th e yea r in orde r t o hel p t he m adjus t t o universit y lif e t o enhance their persona l growt h an d menta l health , i n 1997-98 , over 50 0 student s receive d individua l counsellin g servic e while ove r 80 0 student s participate d i n variou s programme s organized b y th e Psychologica l Counsellin g Unit . Thes e included talks , workshops , psychologica l assessments , board displays , publications , and th e operation of a smal l resource library . Th e Unit' s newl y create d homepag e allow s wider publicit y o f an d greate r acces s t o it s services . 就業輔導 中大與校外機構合作，於一九九七年夏季創辦「中國就業發展獎勵計 劃」，訓練學生應付社會、政治及經濟環境的迅速轉變，加強他們就 業的競爭力。參與計劃的學生近二百名，他們在內地上課和實習， 透過日常生活加深了解內地的社會、政治及經濟體系和工作文化，並 提高普通話的聽講能力，以符合工商機構對派往內地工作人員的要 求。就業輔導組又邀請內地的專家學者主持中國行政外交座談會及中 國就業發展研討會等，以加深學生對中央與地方行政，以及中國外交 現況的認識。 受到亞洲金融風暴的影響，香港的就業市場收縮，大學畢業生的出路 亦收窄。就業輔導組特推出連串計劃，包括「行政事務培訓證書課 程 J 、 「新紀元行政管理領袖培訓計劃」、「走進社會、服務社群獎 勵計劃」、「精英創業計劃」和「畢業生內地就業計劃」，協助中大 畢業生就業或創業。 校方又提供大量錄像帶、錄音帶、書本、期刊及電腦軟件等自學敎 材，鼓勵學生主動尋找就業資訊，更為各年級學生舉辦招聘講座和就 業資料講座等，提高他們的語文能力、溝通技巧、社交及人際關係 技巧，以及領導才能。一九九七至九八年度舉辦的就業輔導及招聘 活動共二百餘項，參加者共一萬三千九百零九人次。 根據一九九七年畢業生就業調查顯示，絕大部分本校畢業生在離校半 年內找到工作。工商界與敎育界仍然是他們的主要出路，任職於政 府或公共及社會服務機構的為數也不少。 本年共有一千五百七十五間機構在中大就業輔導組刊登招聘廣告， 提供六千六百五十九個職位空缺給畢業生應徵。另有八百九十九間機 構透過該組向學生提供一萬零四百六十一個兼職及暑期職位空缺。 本校參與之「聯校就業資料庫」電腦網絡系統，方便僱主傳送和刊載 空缺資料，供本地七所大專院校學生查閲。 TheChinese University of Hong Kong Annual Report Students and Alumni 6 7
