o 敎育學院於一九九八年九月成立「普通話硏究及發展中心」，與 國家語言文字工作委員會普通話培訓中心合作開發普通話水平測 試的電腦軟件；敎育行政與政策學系則成立了「香港敎育領 導發展中心」，提供有助香港敎育領袖專業發展的課程和活動。 o 該院與香港敎育硏究所合辦了三個國際會議：敎師專業發展新方 向國際會議、二十一世紀校外敎育的定位與發展硏討會，以及 「輔導心理學在中國的發展——走上專業之路」學術硏討會。 o 該院協助成立「香港中文大學敎育學院內地同學會」，以加強 中大內地校友與母校和本地校友的聯繫和交流。 o 該院與中文大學出版社合作發展多媒體敎材，製作了《中國語文 多媒體系列——中國文化知識》光碟和《親子齊齊學數學》系列 錄像帶。 o 體育部、體育運動科學系連同保健處合作推出「身心康泰在中 大之體適能測試計劃」，讓員生了解自己的身體狀況，例如心肺 耐力、身體脂肪、柔軟度和肌肉力量等。 o The faculty set up a Centre for Research and Development of Putonghua Education in September 1998 in collaboration with the State Language Commission to conduct computerized tests for putonghu a proficiency. The Department of Educational Administration and Policy established the Hong Kong Centre for the Development of Educational Leadership to organize programmes/activities designated for the professional growth of educational leaders. o Three international conferences were co-organized with the Hon g Kong Institute of Educational Research: (i) the International Conference on New Professionalism in Teaching — Teacher Education and Teacher Development in a Changing World, (ii) Conference on the Positioning and Development of Education Outside Schools in the 21st Century, (iii) the second bi-annual conference in counselling The Development of Counselling in China: The Road Toward Professionalism'. o The faculty helped set up a new student association for students an d alumni from the mainland to strengthen the bondage between them and their alma mater and to facilitate their networking with local graduates. o A CD-Rom on Chinese culture and a video-tape on parent involvement in arithmetic learning were developed in collaboration with The Chinese University Press. o The Physical Education Unit and the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education introduced th e Wellness and Fitness Scheme jointly with the University Health Service, so that CUHK staff and students can learn about their own health indexes with regard to heart and lung function, muscular strength, stress and cholesterol levels. 學術發展 Academic Development 25 MAJOR EVENT
