本年度約有三百名學生接受個人輔導服務，而參與自我認識、 壓力處理、個人適應等活數的人數則逾三千五百名。 為加強與學系的溝通和對學生輔導的支援，該組編製了《輔導 服務轉介指引》，並透過「學系聯絡網」建立一個支援網絡。 另外，更利用電腦網頁和單張等推動校內的心理健康敎育。 就業輔導及發展 第三屆「中國就業發展獎勵計劃」繼續為學生提供四至十二個 星期的實習培訓，使他們透過課堂學習和參觀，以及到國營 及中外合資的機構實習，從而認識內地的政治及經濟情況， 並體驗當地的工作文化。 Career Guidance and Development The China Career Development Award Programme, started two years ago, continued to provide useful training to the students, who had th e opportunity to spend four to 12 weeks on the mainland to lear n about its socio-political and economic systems and workplace culture through lectures, visits, workplace training and internship at state or private enterprises in Beijing, Shanghai and other major mainland cities. The local job market showed some signs of recovery in 1998-99 .
