學術發展 22 ACADEMI C DEVELOPMEN T 上圖：腦研究中心開幕 下圖：中大副校長楊綱凱敎授(前排右)與北京外交學院 副院長石午山(前排左)代表兩校簽署學術交流協議 Above: The opening of the Brain Research Centre Below: Prof. Kenneth Young (front row. right), pro-vice-chancellor of the University, and Vice-President Shi Wushan (front row, left) of the Foreign Affairs College, Beijing, signing an academic exchange agreement 與歐洲學府的聯繋也有重大突破。二零零零年二月，李國 章校長率團訪問法國，與當地主要的研究機構討論合作事 宜。同年四、五月期間，多所法國院校回訪本校，它們包括 法 國 國 家 科 學 研 究 所 、 I n s t i t u t Na t i o n al d e Recherche e n Informatique e t e n A u t oma t i q ue ( I N R I A ) ， 斯 特 拉 斯 堡 巴 斯德大學和法國遠東學院。二零零零年六月，包括丹麥技術 大學校長的丹麥大學校長團到訪本校，為中大與北歐高等院 校之師生交流活動揭開新一頁。 本年度共有一百一十一名中大學生到海外參加交換計劃， 而據二零零零年七月的遴選活動顯示，越來越多本科生希望 參加交換計劃。預計在二零零零至二零零零一年度共有一百 二十名中大學生到海外交流學習，校方將繼續為學生創造 更多留學機會，希望每年能有一成的畢業生曾受惠。 至於與海峽兩岸的學術交流，本年大學共接待百多個學術 代表圑，更與多所院校簽訂了新的學術交流協議，合作夥伴 包括中國青少年發展基金會、哈爾濱工業大學、中國科學院 心理研究所、蘭州大學、外交學院、北京大學心理系、復 旦大學及四川大學。此外，本校又與復旦大學聯合成立「滬 港發展聯合研究中心」，與軍事醫學科學院攜手設立「腦研 究中心」。中大又舉辦了多次大型學術會議及活動，例如一 九九九年十一月舉行的「中華青年遙感辯論會一聯想盃」 和「第二十屆亞洲遙感會議」，為來自世界各地的學者提供 交流機會。本校師生亦積極參加內地的各類交流活動，包括 第六屆「挑戰盃」全國大學生課外學術科技作品競賽，以及 「第二期內地高等敎育管理工作研修班」，以促進員生對祖國 的認識及增進與相關人員的交流。 centre o n development w i t h Fudan University, an d a Brain Research Centre w i t h th e A c a d emy o f M i l i t a ry Medical Sciences. A n umb er o f conferences an d seminars were organized to p r omo te academic exchange, including ' T h e Debate o n Remote Sensing and Ge o I n f o r ma t i on Science' and ' T h e 20th Asian Conference o n Remote Sensing' held i n N o v emb er 1999. Students and staff actively participated i n th e 6 t h 'Challenge Cu p ' Contest i n Academic and Technological Achievements o f China's College Students and th e second training course i n management o f higher education, b o th o f w h i c h p r o v i d ed valuable opportunities f o r university members t o understand their mo t h e r l a nd an d enhance c ommu n i c a t i on w i t h their counterparts o n th e mainland. Meantime, trilateral academic exchange amon g th e mainland, Taiwan, and H o n g K o n g continued unabated.
