過去一年，學生輔導及發展組曾主辦或與其他部 門合辦多項個人發展培訓活動，以幫助學生加深 了解自己，提升自信心和個人效能，以及改善社 交和人際技巧。 為進一步推廣心理健康敎育，該組特別重新設計 網頁，令其發揮敎育及宣傳功能，又出版自助單 張；非典型肺炎爆發期間，更於大學的專題網頁 刊載 〈SARS 的啟示〉一文，為學生提供輔導。 雖然下半年的輔導服務及活動受到非典型肺炎爆 發所影響，全年仍有約三百名學生接受輔導服 務，而參與各項活動者則約三千人。 就業輔導及發展 畢業生就業方面，今年共有大約三千間機構透過 本校就業策劃及發展中心刊登招聘廣告，提供職 位空缺逾一萬個。為協助學生就業，學生事務處 聯同校內其他單位舉辦了各類就業輔導活動、就 業展覽及招聘講座，出席的學生人次共一萬三 千。 「中國就業發展獎勵計劃」自一九九七年起舉辦， 為學生提供四至八個星期在內地的實習訓練，讓 他們透過課堂學習和參觀，以及到國營和中外合 資的機構實習，認識內地的工作文化，以及社 會、政治和經濟情況。二零零三年度的計劃因非 the Early Admissions Scheme. Mini-surveys were also conducted in an attempt to understand the specific needs and experiences of some of these diverse student groups. During the year, developmental programmes were also organized to enhance students' self-understanding, self-confidence and personal effectiveness, as well as social and interpersonal skills. To promote mental health awareness, a relevant webpage was revamped to enhance its educational and publicity functions. Self-management pamphlets were also published. In the battle against SARS, counselling support was offered to students via the University's SARS webpage. Despite the temporary disruption caused by the outbreak of SARS, about 300 students benefited from individual counselling services and some 3,000 attended the various developmental programmes organized by the Office of Student Affairs during the year. Career Guidance and Development In the year 2002-3, around 3,000 companies placed recruitment advertisements through the University's Career Planning and Development Centre, inviting applications for over 10,000 vacancies. To better equip students for employment, career guidance programmes, exhibitions, and recruitment talks were organized, attracting some 13,000 participants. The China Career Development Award Programme, first launched in 1997, provides students with the opportunity to learn about the sociopolitical culture in state or private enterprises in major mainland cities. 8 2 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2002-2003
