CUHK has been chosen as the first institution to be reviewed in 2008 over a four-year review cycle. There will be an audit visit to the University by a QAC review panel in April 2008, and the University is required to turn in an Institutional Submission in January 2008. The Senate Committee on Teaching and Learning is primarily responsible for coordinating the audit and the associated preparation work for the visit. Programme Reviews The Integrated Framework for Curriculum Development and Review adopted by the University in 2003–04 has become an important component in the quality assurance and enhancement mechanism of the University. In addition to the 10 programmes reviewed in 2005 and 2006, eight programme reviews were conducted in the summer of 2007 by panels appointed by the Senate Committee on Teaching and Learning.
