51 服 務 香 港 放 眼 世 界 Service to Hong Kong and the World 推廣藝術文化 文物館在二零零七至零八年度拓建東翼， 新增兩個展廳，為大學成員及廣大社群提 供更豐富的專題展覽。介紹本地文物珍藏 的展覽計有： •「我師造化─高劍父畫稿」 •「燕几衎榻：攻玉山房藏中國古典家具」 •「機暇清賞：懷海堂藏清代官窯瓷缾」 •「世界最早玉耳環」 •「書齋與道場：道教文物展」 •「鎔秦鑄漢出新姿：陳語山書畫篆刻」 •「馳騁縱橫：中國藝術中的馬」 •「澄懷古今：莫家三代珍藏」 藝術行政主任辦公室於該年度創立「藝術 兵團」計劃，鼓勵學生參與文藝活動； 英語教學單位舉辦了六次電影欣賞，吸引 逾六千名中學生觀看電影之餘亦學習英 語；此外，又為公眾開辦「中大文化徑」導 賞團。 Promotion of Art and Culture In 2007–08, a new East Wing of the Art Museum was inaugurated, adding two galleries to the museum. More thematic exhibitions can now be organized for the University members and the public. Exhibition highlights of the year included: • ‘Learning from Nature: Sketches and Drawings by Gao Jianfu’ • ‘Feast by a Wine Table Reclining on a Couch: Dr. S.Y. Yip Collection of Classic Chinese Furniture’ • ‘Ethereal Elegance: Porcelain Vases of the Imperial Qing, The Huaihaitang Collection’ • ‘The Earliest Jade Earrings in the World’ • ‘The Studio and the Altar: Daoist Art in China’ • ‘The Art of Chan Yu San: Painting, Calligraphy and Seal Engraving’ • ‘Heavenly Steeds: Horses in Chinese Art’ • ‘Timeless Legacy: The Mok Family Collections’ The Office of the Arts Administrator launched an arts promotional scheme ‘Friends of the Arts’ in 2007–08, a pastoral scheme to encourage students to take part in arts and cultural events.
