52 「高行健藝術節」於二零零八年五月 二十二日至六月十一日舉行，在校內外 舉辦多項活動，包括於校園舉行的「高 行健：中國文化的交叉路」國際研討會、 「高行健：文學與藝術」的圖書館特藏 展、「有限與無限—創作美學」講座及話 劇「山海經傳」的世界首演。藝術節由於 高行健博士從法國遠道而來參與而增光 不少。 中文大學出版社年內出版了六十一種書 刊，推動學術研究，傳播文化知識。計有 學術專著二十二種，普及書籍十一種、學 術期刊十二種、修訂或重印的圖書十六 種。 照顧各類學習人士 專業進修學院 二零零七至零八年度，專業進修學院開辦 逾一千七百項短期及一百五十項學歷課 程，並在香港中文大學─東華三院社區書 院位於旺角的校舍設立另一教學中心，以 應付與日俱增的課程和學生之需。 為配合政府推出的「資歷架構」及「資歷 名冊」，學院已於「資歷名冊」內登記超過 二百項課程，方便有志進修人士策劃終身 學習的路向。 學院繼續開辦各類型的企業培訓課程，以 配合國內及香港各行各業的需要，包括為 內地各省巿的官員和高校教師提供培訓。 二零零七年十月，學院舉辦了第一屆黑龍 江省普通高校校級領導香港高級研修班。 二零零七至零八年度，學院的短期課程、 學歷課程及遙距課程的報讀人次超過四 萬三千。 Catering for Different Learners School of Continuing and Professional Studies In 2007–08, over 1,700 general courses and 150 award-bearing programmes were offered by the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCS). To meet the needs of its expanding programmes and student population, SCS has set up a new learning centre at The Chinese University of Hong Kong— Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Community College in Mongkok. To support the government’s initiative of establishing the Qualifications Framework and the Qualifications Register, the school placed more than 200 programmes on the Qualifications Register for the convenience of interested parties. SCS continued to provide a multitude of corporate training programmes to cater for the demand of various professions on the mainland and in Hong Kong. These included the provision of training to officials and university lecturers from various mainland provinces and cities. In October 2007, SCS organized the first training programme for university presidents from Heilongjiang. In 2007–08, general courses, award-bearing programmes and distance education courses attracted a total enrolment of over 43,000. The Gao Xingjian Arts Festival, held between 22 May and 11 June 2008, presented a wide array of activities both within and outside the campus. These included four major events on campus: an international symposium ‘Gao Xingjian, a Writer For His Culture, a Writer Against His Culture’; an exhibition of the special collection in CUHK libraries ‘Gao Xingjian: Literature and Art’; a public lecture on ‘The Finite and the Infinite: the Aesthetics of Creation’; and the world premiere of the drama Of Mountains and Seas . The festival was graced by the presence of Dr. Gao Xingjian, who had come all the way from France. During 2007–08, the Chinese University Press produced 61 publications, in- cluding 22 academic titles, 11 general titles, 12 issues of scholarly journals, and 16 revised/reprinted titles. 「山海經傳」首演 Scenes from Of Montains and Seas 高行健博士 Dr. Gao Xingjian
