In mid-July 2008, the Summer Institute, a two- week residential programme, was organized for 133 Secondary Six and 22 Secondary Five students, so that they could explore their interests in different disciplines before making undergraduate programme choices. The students took an immersion English module and academic modules in medicine, law, the arts, science, social science, engineering or business. A variety of activities were also organized to familiarize the students with CUHK and prepare themselves for university admission. 暑期課程 暑期課程辦公室自二零零六年十一月成立 以來，每年都為中學生和各大學的學生開 辦暑期學分課程。 二零零八年七月中舉辦的「預科生暑期課 程」，為期兩周，提供住宿，共一百三十三 名中六和二十二名中五學生參加，在大學 選科之前探索自己對各學科的興趣。他們 除修讀英語沉浸單元外，還修讀醫學、法 律、藝術、科學、社會科學、工程或商業單 元，又可透過多項活動認識中大，為報讀 大學作準備。
