50 「彩墨浮生:葉因泉的藝術.葉氏家屬捐贈作 品展」之展品 Exhibit in the ‘War and Peace: The Art of Yip Yan Chuen • Gifts from the Yip Family’ 「金牛獻瑞:牛年文物展」之展品 Artefact of 'The Ox in Chinese Art' Support for the Education Sector Prof. Cheng Zijuan of the Department of Educational Psychology designed the ‘Operational and Integrated Mathematical Learning in Preschools’ curriculum. A project involving 76 preschools was launched in 2006 to put the curriculum into practice. It provided training to more than 870 teachers, benefiting around 8,000 preschoolers. Research findings of the project announced in 2008 found that the curriculum can enhance children’s abilities of observation, analysis and comparison, imagination and deduction. It also can help develop children’s logical thinking and their skills to effectively solve mathematical problems in their daily lives. Jointly conducted by the Institute of Human Communicative Research at CUHK and the Caritas Rehabilitation Service, the ILAUGH project invited 44 students diagnosed with or suspected of having autism from 14 schools to participate. They showed significant improvement in social communication ability, particularly in interpersonal relationships, caring for family and academic performance after the project. Promotion of Art and Culture During the year, the Art Museum, with two new galleries in its East Wing, mounted several thematic exhibitions. It also published catalogues, organized symposia, lectures, and provided guided tours in conjunction with these exhibitions. Major exhibitions held in the year included: • ‘Timeless Legacy: The Mok Family Collections’ • ‘Heavenly Splendour: The Edrina Collection of Ming and Qing Imperial Costumes’ • ‘War and Peace: The Art of Yip Yan Chuen • Gifts from the Yip Family’ • ‘Heavenly Steeds: Horses in Chinese Art’ • ‘Ancient Chinese Bronzes from the Shouyang Studio: The Katherine and George Fan Collection’ • ‘The Ox in Chinese Art’ The Art Museum worked closely with other departments of the University. The Centre for Chinese Archaeology and Art mounted two exhibitions at the Art Museum, namely, ‘Research Activities of the Centre for Chinese Archaeology and Art in Recent Years’ and ‘Excitements of Digging in 支援教育界 教育心理學系成子 娟教授設計的「學 前數學:操作式和 多元化」課程,於二 零零六年在七十六 間學校試行,培訓 了超過八百七十名 老師,惠及約八千名 幼兒受惠。二零零八 年發布的研究成果,指該課程着重培養觀 察、分析、比較、想像和推理等思維能力, 有助幼兒發展數學邏輯思維,以及解決日 常數學問題的能力。 人類傳意科學研究所與香港明愛康復服務 合作,在本港十四所中學推行「ILAUGH 社 交思考訓練」計劃,幫助四十四位經確診或 疑為自閉症的學生掌握社交思考規則。結 果顯示他們的社交溝通能力顯著提升,在 人際關係、關心家人,甚至學業成績等均有 進步。 推廣藝術文化 文物館於是年度新增兩個展廳,展覽更豐 富精采,又配合展覽出版精美學術圖錄、 舉辦國際研討會、講座,提供導賞服務 等,致力增進校內及社會人士對中國文物 藝術的認識和欣賞。是年度主要展覽有: •「澄懷古今:莫家三代珍藏」 •「朝天錦繡:昇雯閣藏明清宮廷服飾」 •「彩墨浮生:葉因泉的藝術.葉氏家屬 捐贈作品展」 •「馳騁縱橫:中國藝術中的馬」 •「首陽吉金:胡盈瑩、范季融藏中國古 代青銅器」 •「金牛獻瑞:牛年文物展」 文物館與各部門合辦多項活動,中國考古 藝術研究中心在文物館展廳主辦「中國考 古藝術研究中心近年研究活動」及「香江 考古拾趣」展覽,藝術系則與文物館合辦 「藝術系本科生畢業展」。
