CUHK received a total of 309 delegations of presidents, vice-presidents and senior administrators from prestigious institutions on the mainland and in 23 other countries and regions. Other Major Developments The Final Report on our Campus Master Planning (CMP) was released in January 2010, setting out the blueprint for the sustainable development of our campus for the years up to 2021 and beyond. The work will be taken over by the Committee on Campus Sustainability which will oversee the implementation of the recommendations in the CMP Final Report . In February 2010, the University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Shenzhen Municipal Government for deeper collaboration in education and exploration of the establishment of a CUHK campus in Shenzhen. Such a campus would leverage and capitalize on the strengths of Hong Kong and Shenzhen to benefit both cities. It will allow the University to tap into the rich and rapidly expanding resources for education and research on the mainland and in Shenzhen in particular.
