25 學 術 發 展 Academic Development Other distinguished guests included: • Prof. Jiang Mianheng, Vice-President of the CAS • Prof. Cao Jianlin, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology • Prof. Cheng Siwei, Vice-Chairman, Standing Committee of the 9th and 10th NPCs • Prof. Gu Binglin, President of Tsinghua University • Dr. Wu Ching-ji, Minister of Education, Taiwan • Prof. Lee Si-chen, President of Taiwan University • Dr. Tse Chi-wai, Chair and Prof. Zhao Wei, Rector of the University of Macau CUHK conducted 28 university-level outgoing visits to mainland China and Taiwan to strengthen bonds and expand collaboration areas with its strategic partners including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Academia Sinica, the National Science Council of Taiwan, the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, and Taiwan University. Two Academician Visitorship Programmes were organized in collaboration with CAS and the CAE. Four renounced CAE academicians and six CAS academicians visited CUHK from 1 to 4 December 2009 and from 2 to 6 February 2010 respectively. The academicians delivered public lectures in the Lecture Series by Academicians. Thirty-one research students from CUHK’s close mainland partners took part in the third Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland Postgraduate Students organized by the University from 21 June to 13 August 2010. A total of 44 students from 15 mainland universities participated in the Summer Cultural Interflow Programme for Mainland Students from 19 to 25 July 2010. This year, over 200 CUHK students participated in 19 interflow tours in mainland China. The tours were organized by leading universities such as Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Sun Yat-sen University. 是年度中大校級代表團訪問內地及台灣共 二十八次，以加強聯繫及開拓合作項目。 所訪院校及機構包括：國家教育部、國家 科學技術部、北京大學、清華大學、台灣 中央研究院、台灣行政院國家科學委員 會、台灣教育部及台灣大學等。 中大分別與中國工程院及中國科學院合辦 院士訪校計劃，四位中國工程院院士及六 位中國科學院院士於二零零九年十二月一 至四日及二零一零年二月二至六日參訪中 大，並擔任「院士講座系列」演講嘉賓， 主持專題講座。 中大於二零一零年六月二十一日至八月 十三日舉辦第三屆內地研究生暑期研究體 驗計劃，共有三十一名研究生參加；另外 又於二零一零年七月十九至二十五日舉辦 了內地大學生文化交流營，四十四位來自 內地十五所高校的學生參加。 是年度，中大共舉辦了十九個學生交流 團，出訪內地各大院校，參加人數超過 二百人，所訪院校有復旦大學、哈爾濱工 業大學、南京大學、上海交通大學及中山 大學等。 校長劉遵義教授（左）與清華大學校長顧秉林教授（右）續簽 兩校學術交流協議書 Prof. Lawrence J.
