26 Conferences and Lectures The University held seven Bowen Lectures from March to June 2010 at the Hong Kong Central Library. Well attended by members of the public, the lectures covered the following topics: CUHK continued to host international conferences, forums and talks with the foci of concern ranging from regional to global issues, from economics and science to health and the humanities. These academic assemblies invigorated the intellectual community of Hong Kong and generated academic exchange.
