51 服 務 香 港 放 眼 世 界 Services to Hong Kong and the World 崑曲、粵劇教育推廣計劃 中國語言及文學系積極推廣崑曲和粵劇這 兩種獲聯合國教科文組織列為「人類口頭 與非物質文化遺產代表作」的戲曲，以豐 富社區文化生活，並提升市民的藝術欣賞 能力。該計劃為三千名中學生和市民安排 了現場表演和與藝術家近距離接觸，藉此 向他們介紹戲曲的文學與藝術元素，加深 他們的理解和欣賞。 中大開放式創新網絡 中大創新科技中心建立了「香港中文大學 開放式創新網絡」，擴大與業界的網絡與 溝通，促進大學與機構之間的技術轉移。 中心特別邀請工商機構參與，協助他們在 研究和開發運作裏採用開放式創新模型， 參與的機構還可享用技術諮詢服務，並掌 握大學創新發明的最新資訊。 專利及科技授權 除上述項目，大學亦透過申請專利、技術 轉讓和授權，把其研究成果轉化，裨益工 商業界。在二零零九至一零年度，大學共 申請了一百零九項專利，成功取得三十六 項專利，並與業界達成二十四項科技授權 以作進一步開發。 推廣藝術文化 文物館在是年度籌辦了「北山汲古：利氏 北山堂捐贈中國文物」展覽，陳列北山堂 主人利榮森博士（一九一五至二零零七） 歷年捐贈文物。展品內容豐富，涵蓋繪 畫、書法、拓本、玉器、陶瓷，以至雕塑、 文玩、竹刻、璽印及銅器等，均為原利氏 北山堂藏品。 offered rehabilitation services to the older people with fractures. A total of 11 fall prevention clinics and centres were established in Shatin with 2,600 patients benefiting from their treatment and monitoring services. Fight against Cardiovascular Disease To enhance the prevention and control of coronary heart disease, stroke and hypertension, the Nethersole School of Nursing has set up a website for free public access to healthcare knowledge and sharing among support groups, promoting to patient self-help groups, community rehabilitation networks and professional nursing associations. The Kunqu and Cantonese Opera Education and Promotion By actively promoting Kunqu and Cantonese Opera, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature has contributed to the enrichment of cultural life of the community and raising the appreciation for these genres of arts which have been listed as ‘Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity’ by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The project has reached out to 3,000 secondary school students and the public, introducing the literary and artistic elements to them through live performances and close encounters with artists in demonstrations. CUHK Open Innovation Network The Centre for Innovation and Technology has established the ‘CUHK Open Innovation Network’, a client base for technology transfer and a regular link of communication with the industry. Companies are invited to join the programme as members to receive assistance from the University to implement the open innovation model in their corporate R&D operations, and get updates on CUHK’s innovations. Patents and Licensing In addition to the abovementioned projects, the University also strives to transform its fruits of research into applications that have practical benefits for commerce and industry. In 2009–10, a total of 109 patents were filed, 36 patents granted, and 24 licensing deals reached with outside companies for further technology development. Promotion of Art and Culture During the year, the Art Museum made full use of its premises of all the four galleries to mount the large-scale exhibition of ‘The Bei Shan Tang Legacy: Gifts of Chinese Art’, with an aim to pay tribute to Dr. J.S. Lee (1915–2007), its major donor and benefactor. In the past three decades, the majority of the Bei Shan Tang collection, Dr. Lee’s personal collection of Chinese art, had been generously given to the museum. This exhibition featured some of the cream of this gift, ranging from paintings, calligraphy works, ink rubbings, jade objects, ceramics, to sculptures, scholar objects, bamboo carvings, seals and bronzes.
