16 中大金禧慶典 五十周年傑出學人講座 中大五十周年傑出學人講座邀請海內外不 同學術範疇的專家蒞校演講。本年度內共 舉行了五場。 2013 年 1 月 29 日，史丹福大學心理學榮休教 授菲力浦．津巴多教授主講「從惡魔到英雄 之旅」，探討如何激發平凡人成為日常生活 中的英雄的心理，從自身的正面改變開始， 進而令整個社會更美好。 香港終審法院首席法官馬道立在 3 月 22 日 發表題為「香港社會的精粹──成文憲法 的實踐與未來」的演講。他指出，司法獨立 是本港法律制度的核心，法庭會以法律為 依據，並根據事實對具有爭議的案件作出 判決，並不受公眾輿論影響。 在 3 月 28 日，哈佛大學 Henry Ford II 社會科 學榮休講座教授傅高義以「中日能否和平 共處？」為題，論述多年以來複雜而起伏的 中日關係，並探討兩國未來可採取甚麼措 施改善關係。 中大偉倫人文學科講座教授白先勇在 4 月 18 日主講「崑曲新美學：傳統與現代」。白 教授以崑劇青春版《牡丹亭》及新版《玉簪 記》的製作經驗與美學手法為例，闡述「崑 曲新美學」如何「尊重傳統，但不因循傳 統；利用現代，但不濫用現代」。 牛津大學教育系兼澳洲西悉尼大學正 面心理學及教育中心傑出教授 Herbert W.Marsh 於 7 月 2 日蒞校，發表題為「學生對 大學教學的評鑑：優化政策和實踐」的演 講。全球不少大學引入學生對大學教學的 50th Anniversary Distinguished Lecture CUHK has launched the 50th Anniversary Distinguished Lecture to invite experts from around the world to share their views on various topics with the University community and the public. Five lectures were organized in the year under review. On 29 January 2013, Prof. Philip Zimbardo, Professor (Emeritus), Department of Psychology, Stanford University, presented a lecture on ‘My Journey from Evil to Heroism’ to share insights into exploring and encouraging the psychology of everyday heroes, through which individuals can initiate positive changes in their own lives as well as that of their society as a whole. Mr. Justice Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal of Hong Kong, delivered a lecture entitled ‘The Essence of Our Society: from a Written Constitution to Reality and into the Future 50 Years’ on 22 March. In the lecture, Mr. Justice Ma stressed that the independent judiciary is a core value of the system. Whether or not a case is a controversial topic, the court will simply apply the law. Prof. Ezra F. Vogel, Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences Emeritus at Harvard University, presented a lecture on ‘Can China and Japan Make Peace?’ on 28 March to share his views on the relationships between China and Japan. In the lecture, Professor Vogel talked about the ups and downs of Sino-Japanese relations, as well as possible measures to improve the relations. Professor Pai Hsien-yung Kenneth, Wei Lun Professor of Humanities, CUHK, presented a lecture on ‘New Aesthetics of Kunqu: Tradition in the Modern Era’ on 18 April. He used his production experiences and the aesthetic approach he used in producing The Young Lovers’ Edition of The Peony Pavilion and The Story of the Jade Hairpin to illustrate the ‘New Aesthetics of Kunqu’.
