Development Milestones 47 基督教研究中心 汕頭大學 ‧ 香港中文大學聯合基督教研究 中心合作協議簽署暨揭牌儀式於 2012 年 9 月 5 日舉行。汕頭大學文學院在李嘉誠基 金的支持下，於 2010 年成立基督教研究中 心，此後一直與中大崇基學院神學院在各 層面展開廣泛合作。是次聯合基督教研究 中心的成立，將令雙方的合作更加密切， 並促進華南地區基督教研究的發展。 一站式遺傳病門診服務 中大與美國貝勒醫學院於 2012 年 9 月 14 日 簽署合作備忘錄，共同提供臨床遺傳病學 訓練，並設立本港首個遺傳病門診服務。 該診所位於沙田威爾斯親王醫院，為市民 提供一站式遺傳病諮詢、風險評估及基因 化驗服務。美方專家將定期來港舉辦研 討會及進行培訓，同時為診所提供診斷及 諮詢服務。 Joint Centre for Christian Studies A memorandum of understanding signing cum plaque- unveiling ceremony for the Shantou University–The Chinese University of Hong Kong Joint Centre for Christian Studies (CCS–STU–CUHK) was held on 5 September 2012. With the support from the Li Ka Shing Foundation, a Center for Christian Studies was established under the College of Liberal Arts at the STU in 2010. Since then, it has launched various collaborative projects with the Divinity School of Chung Chi College of CUHK at many levels. It is believed that the establishment of CCS-STU- CUHK would further strengthen collaboration between the two parties and promote the development of Christian Studies in South China region. One-Stop Outpatient Genetic Clinic in Service The University signed a memorandum of understanding on 14 September 2012 with the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in the US for a collaboration to provide clinical genetic training, and set up the territory’s first outpatient genetic clinic. Located at the Prince of Wales Hospital, the clinic provides consultation services, including genetic counselling, risk assessment and genetic and genomic testing. Experts from BCM will regularly visit Hong Kong to conduct seminars and clinical training.
