48 發展里程 醫學工程聯合研究中心 中大工程學院和醫學院與北京航空航天大 學生物與醫學工程學院共同成立「香港中 文大學─北京航空航天大學醫學工程聯合 研究中心」，於 2012 年 10 月 26 日在北京舉行 成立典禮。 中心的成立將為兩校長久合作奠下更穩固 的基礎，並有助雙方在醫學工程方面開拓 更多的創新研究項目。聯合研究中心將由 電子工程學系麥福達教授和矯形外科及創 傷學系秦嶺教授擔任中大方面的聯席主任 和副主任。兩校人員將在生物力學、生物 材料及老年人健康與康復方面開展科研 合作。 利榮傑高等眼科培訓及教育中心 利榮傑高等眼科培訓及教育中心於 2012 年 11 月 8 日開幕，由眼科及視覺科學學系系主 任彭智培教授及中大眼科中心總監譚智勇 教授主禮。主禮嘉賓包括利定昌夫人、校長 沈祖堯教授、醫學院院長霍泰輝教授和醫 院管理局行政總裁梁栢賢醫生。 Joint Research Centre on Medical Engineering CUHK and the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) collaborated to establish the CUHK- BUAA Joint Research Centre on Medical Engineering between the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine at CUHK, and the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering at BUAA. Its inauguration ceremony was held on 26 October 2012 in Beijing. The establishment of this joint centre will strengthen ties between CUHK and BUAA towards long and sustainable collaboration in Medical Engineering. Prof. Arthur Mak of Department of Electronic Engineering and Prof. Qin Lin of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology will be the co-director and associate director of the joint centre respectively on behalf of CUHK. Based on the past collaborations between CUHK and BUAA, faculty members in engineering and medicine at the two universities will embark on the research collaboration in the areas of biomaterials, biomechanics, rehabilitation and health technology for the elderly.
