R-Guardian R-Guardian is a B2B solution provider to enterprises. Their innovation safeguards against loss and counterfeiting, and provides product usage analyses and advertising services. Among the various awards under its belt are the Championship (Undergraduate Group Entries) of Professor Charles K. Kao Student Creativity Awards 2015, and SET Challenge Round Winner of Asia Venture Challenge 2015. The team members were Yan Yat-yin Leung, Eric Wai-keung Kuo, Tom Kwan Tong, and Eric Pak-lam Lau. Entrepreneurship Day To help students and alumni identify business opportunities and partners, the CUHK Alumni Torch Fund organized the Entrepreneur Day 2016 in May, showc a sing 60 entrepreneurship projects and start-ups created by students and alumni. The Alumni Torch Fund was set up in 2014 by a group of alumni to fuel the professional and academic development of CUHK students and graduates. Strategic Plan: a Pledge to Boost Lifelong Learning and Contributions The CUHK Strategic Plan 2016–2020 built on the University’s tradition in holistic education to help students pursue personal and professional enrichment and community service. Over the next five years, the University will endeavour to foster students’ aspirations and improve their competencies to make lifelong contributions to society, to fulfil the demand for lifelong education, to adopt innovative pedagogies for teaching, and to enhance graduates’ global competitiveness.
